We Built Through the Problem Ourselves

Our team has built and deployed technology in Ukraine, adapted dual-use products for allied markets, graduated from Techstars, completed CDL Defence and is now working through the Canadian innovation ecosystem.

That journey exposed the same recurring gap: promising technology can attract interest long before it has a clear operational user, a credible pilot and the evidence required for adoption.

The Forum Creates the Shared Understanding

Many Canadian stakeholders know Ukraine accelerated defence innovation, but fewer have seen how the system actually worked inside: operators, founders, volunteer and private financing, rapid testing, public institutions and continuous adaptation.

Snake Island Lab is preparing Canada–Ukraine sessions, roundtables and workshops to make those lessons useful in the Canadian context.
